Introduction :
I was an investor in Penguin Finance. I saw my money evaporate.
I knew I was not alone in my experience and decided to channel my frustrations into the launch of NoPenguin.
I want this to be a token where something positive can arise from a space peppered with rugs, scammers and the purveyors of false dreams.
With perhaps an overabundance of enthusiasm, I decided to just get the token out there and launched.
It perhaps didn’t go as smoothly as it could’ve, but I believe we now have a solid foundation and strong community on which to build.
I am immensely grateful for the enormous support I’ve received from the community, and I’d like to take a little time to just sketch an outline of how I see this project moving forward, and what the future milestones are likely to be.
Memes :
NoPenguin is a meme token . I think sometimes the best way to deal with frustration and disappointment is through humour. I see memes. A lot of memes. And a lot of Penguins. Perhaps not very happy Penguins. Not very happy at all.
I think it’s a good idea to ensure the creativity of the community that has already grown up around this project is harnessed. If frustration can be turned into creativity, then already some of the goal of this project will have been accomplished.
So please, if you have artistic skills (or not!) and wish to submit your ideas, do so. All are welcome to contribute. Who knows what might become of your artwork in the coming NFT future?
Redress :
I’d like to see this project try to ensure that those in the same position as me maybe have some chance to turn what happened with Penguin Finance into something positive, while also rewarding those who have already shown faith in NoPenguin.
There are probably a lot of worthless Penguin tokens sitting in wallets out there, and some Penguin-ETH LP too. And an ever-decreasing supply of deflationary NoPenguin. I don’t want to say too much, because there’s quite a lot at ‘stake’ , and I want to get the details exactly right.

Yes. I think already a lot of you can guess what might be coming, but I’ll leave an elaboration of the exact details for the future.
What’s next?
A new website is priority one, while work on everything else above progresses. I will try to keep you all in the loop as best I can, in future updates.
